Also, sit next to people who are alone and need a friend. 3 Reply Ed Schulte6 years agoEd SchulteAs I go about my daily life, what small kindnesses can I offer to others? What make this question very interesting is the fact that when any act of kindness manifests, to grows in direct relation to the potential around it. It mutates, changes colours, frequencies and flavours. It can, and does, often join with other kindnesses. All proof that kindness belongs to Divine Nature-Human Nature. May I be so oriented this day. 2 Reply Steve6 years agoSteveNo rocket science in this question. I can look them in the eye and give them my attention. Saying thank you. Being pro-active in seeing the needs of my students and colleagues. Being positive in my feedback. Treating others as I would like to be treated. 2 Reply Nancy6 years agoNancyI offer what works for me from others – open, friendly and happy. Whenever I am out doing anything and I come across happy friendly people it makes my day. And, that is the day I had on my birthday this year. I was out doing ordinary errands and everywhere I went, I was greeted by happy friendly people – what a beautiful birthday gift these people were. It was the best birthday. 3 Reply Sharon6 years agoSharonPeople tell me there is something about my smile. If they are telling me what they appreciate about me, they always include my smile. I have no idea what is so special about that, but I know that, with everyone I encounter, I at some point I give them a heart-felt smile. And I trust that it makes a difference to them. 5 Reply Doreen Nixon6 years agoDoreen NixonI can offer a silent blessing to the person and a smile. ❤???????? 5 Reply Kevin6 years agoKevinBy truly being present, physically and emotionally to people I meet throughout the day. However brief and mundane an interaction with another human being may appear, it’s an encounter and opportunity to learn, however short the time may be, a bit about their world too, and not just an exchange that is orchestrated to meet my needs only. 5 Reply Malag6 years agoMalagRespect and acceptance, moving beyond the transactional. 3 Reply Ose6 years agoOseTo silently offer a rose from my heart to everyone I encounter as a prayer and a thank you for their being here with me, while meeting someone, talking to someone or thinking about someone. 5 Reply My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
