Day by day, Easter lambs are born here where I am currently visiting a friend for her birthday, which was yesterday. 2 days ago, suddenly a 3 weeks old lamb got seizures. It was hit at its head by something so there must have been a major bleeding. With 3 adults and 4 kids we all together managed to help, so that at the end of this day, this little lamb was again able to drink and be with her mother, although still not able to stand on its own feet. But it could lift his head again and not overstretching his limbs and head any more. We were all so very happy about this. It was just a meaningful day for all of us.
By striving to be a better version of myself on a daily basis! Be open and a source of giving, sharing and when you fall get up if you can look up you can get up strive to always have your eye on God the Father through Jesus our brother and Savior! be focused and stay in prayer and thoughts on Our Lord.
The day is near done for me. What I am working on at the moment are the micro-goods: tiny things that may have a positive impact on others. I’m only starting to flex that muscle but am looking forward to what it may bring.
The word of today particularly resonated with me, we have been made to believe that letting go will leave us with nothing but letting go gives us freedom instead…
Letting go of material and non material things that don’t serve us well will make space for more meaningful things in life.
Always I begin again to live my life intentionally, which I hope and trust will result in it being meaningful.
Being. Doing. At One with God. Always. All ways.
Do my part well. Be grateful for my opportunity to work on this project in astrophysics, and make my small contribution and earn a PhD degree on the way; read something aloud every day so that I can speak better, which will let others get to know my thoughts more easily.
being able to accept myself and others without judgement and with the knowledge that there is a purpose for each one of us.
being able to love unconditionally.
I can make this life more meaningful by living truthfully true to my intentions for this life.
Each day brings forth opportunities for gratitude. I’m grateful today for having started to map out gracefully my true intentions to manifest. Within the next 6-18 months I have created intentions which will help me to live true to my life’s purpose.
I’m excited about my desires becoming real. It’s like the metamorphosis of spring unfolding right before me.

Today is Good Friday and even if we are not religious, we can be thankful for Jesus and his teachings.
Today gives meaning to my life because it’s like an awakening from a challenging time of my life. Like yesterday’s question made us think about the mud of life which is necessary for growth, today we can reflect on the resurrection of life.
We have the opportunity to look for ways to manifest our deep desires and come home to our true selves.
Today I find meaning in the resurrection and I’m grateful for love.
“let the beauty we love be what we do”- Rumi speaks to me and not sure why except that life can only be meaningful if it is joyful for me
and beauty always brings me back to joy-so even though I am feeling “fluish”, it is a beautiful day and the birds are singing……..and I can just relax into the day……..and be with what is!
I am on the same path as you today Gina, including the “fluish” part!
hope you are enjoying your day, Amor fati,
Be well,
Gina
Starting today I can pay attention to my thoughts and reactions. I can ask myself Is there a story behind any of these thoughts. Can I drop the story? If I can do that something more meaningful will emerge because I will be more in touch with my true purpose here in this life.

Introspection is one of the 5 "Golden Keys" to the "Kingdom of Heaven".
I commented to one of Penny's queries in the current e-course last week..... that it is a misunderstanding to say the "Sufism' is "the Esoteric branch of Islam" Yes Sufism is studied by Islam but Sufism, as a practice before it was ever given a "name" existed long before Islam or any of the three Abrahamic Religions for that matter.

Are the people of the Caucus Mountain regions. They practiced what they called “Ahmsta Kebzeh”. It this rich and powerful tradition ….and they get right to the point….no messing around with word play / theories, Philosophy etc ….they know the truth when they say
…”Everything you will ever need to know, IS right there on the back of your eyelids”

First I would ask: what does a meaningful life look like for me? Maybe it might be easier to ask what does a meaningful day look like for me. A meaningful day would be one that I am awake and aware of the wonder around me. I would see and hear. I would have the will, the desire even, and the energy to contribute to the world around me. The contributions could be as simple as sharing a smile. Or testing the limits of my skills and knowledge to the tasks (opportunities!) that arise.
So then...

So then, I can make my life more meaningful today by practicing awareness, take care of my personal physical needs for health, nutrition, rest, and exercise, and expand my consciousness beyond myself.
Today we pause to reflect upon
those who have shaped our character,
molded our spirits and touched our hearts.
May the lighting of this candle be a
reminder of the memories we have shared,
a representation of the everlasting
impact you have made upon our lives.
How can I make my life more meaningful, starting today?
Rumi makes good advice for this day called, “Good Friday”
Today, like every other day, we wake up
empty and frightened,
Don’t open the door to the study
and begin reading. Take down a musical
Instrument
Let the beauty we love be what we do.
Let the beauty we love be what we do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and
Kiss the ground.
My favorite words from Rumi. Thank you, Ed.
Lately I have been making a deliberate effort to slow down and observe things more closely. For example, while doing springtime chores around the outside of our home, I have hearing and enjoying the symphony of bird calls that come with spring. Day by day the bulbs in our gardens are inching upward. While at the hardware store getting supplies, I am making an effort to focus and take in the feel of the place. Day by day the bulbs in our gardens are inching upward. While at the hardware store getting supplies, I am making an effort to focus and take in the feel of the place. And while interacting with employees, I’m enjoying more of their presence as persons and not just as information funnels who will lead me to a product.
Some of these things I have had to jam in between doing other duties when I was working full-time and then some. Now that I am retired, I am discovering that these “old tapes” on how to get stuff done no longer need to be heeded in the same way. It surprises me too, aware that I’ve been retired now for eighteen months, that it’s taken me this long to realize this! Call it my “light dawns over Marblehead moment!”

I did the same thing today! I took the dog out this morning and utilized all my senses to take in the breathtaking day. I felt full of gratitude for this Good Friday.
Hello Antoinette, you mentioned taking out your dog….our dog, Gracie, is blind and I oftentimes watch her take everything in with her remaining keen senses of smell, touch and hearing. She’s been blind now almost a year and maneuvers her way all around the house inside and out with ease. We’ve noticed how her remaining senses have ramped up since losing her sight and how happy she seems overall. Sometimes I look at her and think, I should be more like her day in and day out.
To make my life more meaningful today, Friday, I can pursue my spiritual practices, as I do every day. I can read my near-dozen of daily meditation books, pray (there are so many who need it!) perhaps meditate to Brother David’s “Giver of all Good Gifts..” I can take action on my goal/desire of being published in online non-fiction literary magazines by doing further research on it and maybe even starting to write to the theme offered by one of them. It’s funny at this hour – 4:37a –...

Life is a spiritual practice,
dear Christina . . .
