Loneliness is a word few use as there seems to be shame attached to the word ; ironically loneliness can be lessened through our thoughts….change our thoughts about the concept….if we do things alone…that is ok….it is our thoughts that make it messy or lonely….throughout my journey, I have left so many behind….I have few meaningful contacts…..hence I reach out to my biggest resource …which is me……and that’s OK…….
Good Morning Everyone, I am truly grateful for this site and, as I sit here I question myself “How do I find my life purpose” also
COULD Y O U please say some prayers today and everyday for world peace? i dread the loss of innocent lives if another war breaks out. Thank you for reading this and may God Bless You All
Thank-you, James and God bless you.
Today is an awesome day and for those who don’t feel the same way, please reconsider that it just might be after all..
Cesar, you are right, today is an awesome day!!????
Bless you.
Believe and do not give up.
…or as my mom would say ” just keep going …one foot in front of the other…”….such a wise sage my mom…..
My first answer is: I don’t know’. But I know there must be something. I am sitting here writing this and feeling cold even though where I am it is summertime. But today, after three weeks of record high temperatures, we have cold winds and cloudy skies, but the sun is making an effort and so must I. What I would like to do is be present with every person in the universe and share with them all the gifts of the spirit within us all so that there we are all one.
My offer today,is that each of us as individuals in this time on earth, how ever we have chosen to be, needs to be acknowledge with a kind gesture of “Hello” or a smile.
I’ve witnessed this and have been the recipient of beautiful responses.
~M
When I look at others I notice something beautiful about them. Like there’s something that stands out to me, where others might over look. Everybody I’ve looked at does. And most of the time that person doesn’t even know that about there selves unless I tell them.
I can be a reflection of the love that we truly are. I can show others how to rise above judgement and anger and show forgiveness to all. Through being an example of love and forgiveness, I may teach by my actions.
I think everyone likes to be noticed. I am genuinely interested in others when I take my time to see them. Today I will share an unhurried attitude with the world.
Trust in the flow of life and be generous.
I want to learn to bear witness to the billions of animals suffering in factory farms and dying is slaughterhouses. I don’t know how to do this yet. Do I speak out about abominations that no one wants to know? How can I bear witness with compassion for both animals and people? I hope to figure this out with God’s help.
Francine, your caring about the suffering of animals is very touching! I became a vegetarian about 6 years ago and honestly I still am sometimes hesitant about saying that to people. I find it hard to say something without sounding judgmental of others. Thank-you for your sharing and honesty.
Blessings.????
Thank you, Sheila! I’m vegan and I am proud of this, plus it’s a joy to me that my diet is non-violent, but – like you – I worry about coming off as self-righteous and judgmental. In the end, I have to figure out how best to serve the animals. Haven’t figured this out yet!
The value of nonviolence from inside your door to the ends of the world. Press for peace.
I would like to say:
Your time, your life…it’s so precious!
Don’t waste your time living the life of other person. Enjoy your own life.
The bad humor isn’t necessary. It’s not easy, but it’s possible; try to find good things in every moments and facts. Be patient and trust in the flow of life. “The diamond necklace is already around your neck!”
Share feelings of peace, love and forgiveness with everyone.
Kindness no matter what is going on.
Today’s question seems ready-made to respond as follows: Today my wife and I are taking our six grandchildren to Boston to see Blue Man Group, which was our Christmas gift to them all this year. We try to give them an experience instead of the more usual Christmas gifts that children typically receive in the U.S. It’s a gift of art, of sound, mime, color and humor that we’re certain that they will enjoy.
It’s sounds very adorable!! Perfect!
I would like to be your grandchildren
Thanks for your comment, Cintia. It was truly a grand and fun-filled day! I will say too that Grampa and Gramma were rather pooped the following day! Ha!
Unconditional love. I don’t need to offer pithy sayings, religious knowledge, or even verbal truths about unconditional love. All I have to do is be the Love and show my wisdom by my action.
I could teach my family that even when you don’t feel good you can be kind and I can do that through my actions today.
I Agree with you
I would like to say the same: “when you don’t feel good you can be kind”
In my point of view, my family is a important learning laboratory in my life…
