LaurenGripp946 years agoLaurenGripp94I am grateful for meeting my boyfriend and soulmate 7 months ago. ~I was at a really depressing point in my life after losing my grandfather 2 years ago. A friend from high school that I haven’t talked to in years saw a post on Facebook and gave his condolences. He noticed I was about to give up all hope so he gave his friend that he was with my phone number. That was when my boyfriend came along and turned my world upside down/right side up. 0 Reply Hot Sauce6 years agoHot SauceWell, I am grateful for God's efforts, at least, even though I didn't exactly take the advice...one day, I ate three fortune cookies, and all three said, "A new pair of shoes will do you good." I kind of giggled and thought, "What a coincidence!" I even ate another cookie to see if maybe they all said that, but the next cookie I ate was something different. That afternoon, during a meet, my shoes started falling apart. If nothing else, however, I am grateful for the sign that the Universe is loo... That afternoon, during a meet, my shoes started falling apart. If nothing else, however, I am grateful for the sign that the Universe is looking out for me and guiding me through these subtle synchronicities. This is especially comforting in light of the fact that I used to be terrified and thought God hated me. I have a much different worldview now. Most recently though, it would have to be right before I fell completely apart and just gave up all hope, my love came and was comforting, supportive, and reminded me that I’m not in this alone. 4 Reply Sheila6 years agoSheilaThere have been occasions when I have been driving and was distracted or lost in thought and I have looked up “just-in-time” to slow down or I would have hit another car. I always say, “Thank-you God”! Wishing everyone a safe and blessed day.???? 3 Reply Shelley6 years agoShelleyChristmas Eve, my family and I were driving home and what would normally take 20 min.s to get home, took 3 hours due to bad ice weather. I had so much anxiety(I was driving), I was trying to keep calm, I turned on the radio. NPR had a segment with Brother David, his calm, grateful, wise demeanor…helped me to calm down and see that we were ok and to be grateful that we safe, warm and had each other…. * 5 Reply Michael6 years agoMichaelWhen, about five years after my divorce, an acquaintance saw me at a dance hall while he was dancing with a young woman he just met. He came over and said he wanted me to meet a nice Irish girl. That “girl” and I have been married 32 years. Prior to our meeting both of us had given up actively seeking life partners. The meeting was just in time. 5 Reply Daryl6 years agoDarylI love this! 2 Reply Kevin6 years agoKevinI am grateful for many, many things.
