The close, the distant, the in between, the daily, the seldom, the occasional. I learn from them all. 2 Reply Sheila7 years agoSheilaDeb, you are so right, we do learn from all relationships! Have a good day! Many blessings, Sheila 1 Reply Deb7 years agoDebThank you, Sheila! Cheers!! 0 Reply Janie7 years agoJaniethose around me, for many years and for only days . . . and especially for those whose physical presence is absent, but whose connection is vibrant and strong within my heart 2 Reply Muiza7 years agoMuizaI value my relationship with my two sons. Now grown men with good hearts making their own way in the world. 2 Reply Chester7 years agoChesterIn the moment, it is my distant and only periodic, but valued relationship with this Gratefulness community. It has been a while but happy to see familiar early posters! 5 Reply Barbara7 years agoBarbaraMy husband, my children, my mother, my friends, my neighbours, my Quaker community, my students. I am very grateful! 2 Reply Pilgrim7 years agoPilgrimFamily, friends, Mother Nature. 3 Reply Kevin7 years agoKevinFirst and foremost I am thankful for my relationships among my family members. Close behind would be my Quaker community followed by my rowing team and the wider rowing club beyond. In all this, I cannot forget the one who greets me first when I arrive home, with tail wagging, our dog Gracie. She may be blind, but she sees it all! 3 Reply Christina7 years agoChristinaMany, many: my 90-year-old mother and father, my seven sisters (one of whom hung up on me recently!) my friends (always them,) my beloved cat Lucy, who gets ever more dear to me. I think it was Martin Buber who talked about the importance of relationship. I agree! 2 Reply Kevin7 years agoKevinSeven sisters?! Wow!
