I’m not sure I can heal anyone but being compassionate helps people know you care and want to try to help in as much as I am able. 8 Reply Barbara Morris6 years agoBarbara MorrisLook each person in the eye, smile and open the door for dialogue with a question or compliment. People want to be appreciated for who they are. 5 Reply Nancy6 years agoNancyA genuine smile for everyone I see. One of the things I love the most that is very healing for me is when I encounter a lovely stranger who greats me with a simple smile and a hello as they pass. I will never see them again but that friendly smile stays with me and truly lifts my heart. 9 Reply Kevin6 years agoKevinI consider it a tall order, if not presumptuous, to assume that any sentiment of mine would always be healing for everyone I meet. But the words, “Hello,” “good to see you,” “thank you,” and in the right setting, “I love you” would get us going in the right direction. 7 Reply Jeff6 years agoJeff“You are loved just the way you are” 10 Reply Malag6 years agoMalagTo be helpful and supportive of others. 5 Reply Susan6 years agoSusanTo be at peace. Peace within. 7 Reply Ose6 years agoOseKindness towards everyone I encounter today. When I meet someone, to offer a smile, silently wishing all the best for the one and expressing through this my gratefulness for their being as a greeting from my heart, or while looking into the eyes to convey it to their soul, if they allow it. Heartfelt greetings to all of you here, too! 8 Reply Barbara Morris6 years agoBarbara MorrisThank you! You reminded me that someone once told me she offers a silent prayer when she meets someone who seems upset or disgruntled. I like that. Enjoy the day! 3 Reply Susan6 years agoSusanThank you for your words on kindness. You have helped remind me that although we can’t always verbally express our ‘Best Wishes’ to others, we can always silently and within, wish the best for others and express it from our hearts. 5 Reply « Previous 1 2 My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
