How have I focused on the good in others today?
Well, now that the “today” is almost over…….”how I have focused on the good in other”…..was achieved by…..consciously not applying ANY judgement(s) on the “others”. ( and lets be clear here "focusing on the good of others IS a form of "judgement:)

Instead, my intent was to allow for the fact that the “others” are as they ARE… just as I am what I am ….a Spirit-Soul- Being….living and gaining experience on this earthly plane of existence.
Doing this with the guidance and very helpful wisdom of Joshua Emmanuel the Christ and by allowing enough space for my own self awareness and self-forgiveness to flow so that I do not fall into ego’s little trick of self-criticism, which is its way of preventing me from not being able to truthfully “focus on the life as it is” and not what egoism wants it to be.
Thanks Ed, it was good to read your reflexion at this moment when it feels particularly forceful to me to look for the good in others. Loving what is, as Byron Katie also says, feels gentler and truer.
I have not done a good job today of focusing on the good in others. I focused on the good in my children… but, in terms of other grown human beings I saw negatives. it’s very unusual for me to do that. I will get back on the bicycle of gratitude for the rest of today/tonight.
focusing on the good in others
focuses on the blessedness of us all
we are all here for a purpose…….
Because of a wonderful conversation with a neighbor late yesterday, I awoke full of love for others…..warts and all. We are all exactly where we are supposed to be, doing what we’re supposed to do, within the plan we already agreed upon within The One, of which we are all a part. No fear. My job today is to stay in awareness.
I saw the beauty and love in manda’s posts. For herself and others.
I think coming here and reading others contributions helps me focus on the good in people. I’m also getting ready for a wedding which will be a lovely celebration day in family and friends uniting in love.
Also just got through my tea in the morning and getting ready for the get go. I will keep this question in mind during today in my interactions. It may temper a tendency to be a bit suspicious of people. A small dose of that is healthy protection. But a larger dose stifles seeing that good. I’ll be seeking to get my dose right today.
As my day is just beginning, the most I have focused on so far is pouring myself a cup of tea! But as I consider yesterday and nearly every day before that, the good that I focus on in others is who they are as people and what they may share in back-and-forth simple conversation. It’s about their eyes, their voice, how they move and what they think and how it informs and adds to the joy of living through the day.

Haha! I have to laugh out loud, because I live with a bunch of teenage boys and the kitchen looked like a disaster this morning!
Fortunately, I’m focused on writing what I’m grateful for, while enjoying my morning coffee.
I am grateful for good friends. Recently, I met a woman who has become a very supportive and caring friend. Normally, I may have be skeptical of how suddenly we became close friends, however I let the doubling mind go. Im grateful for love and support.

I’m also grateful for teenagers who make my life more interesting and teach me patience!
Happy Friday peace and love,

Oh man. Teenage boys. Can be the worst. If they aren’t well trained. Tamed by a superior role model. Society (the “profit monsters” in certain entertainment industries) targets this demographic in the most destructively subliminal ways that can impact the rest of their lives horribly wrong.
Sorry if that sounds mean!
I have to tell the truth for their own good!
