So many freedoms in our country which some take for granted. And a wonderful drive into the city to work. 4 Reply Michael6 years agoMichaelit is where I am/we are able to create a home. it is where grateful starts and ends each day. my community of Inglewood, CA is much maligned (except for the shiny, new, gentrification inducing football stadium being built) but full of amazing and wonderful people. I live less than a mile from the ocean, which makes beach going, seaside walking, rowing, boating and swimming in summer all available to me and my family. My wife and I are blessed even further as our three daughters, their husbands and our six grandchildren all live close by also. We live close enough to urban centers to enjoy various cultural events, yet live within minutes of numerous conservation tracks of land that feature a variety of ecosystems and terrains. We ... My condo can be flooded with sunlight in the morning in the front, and equally bathed in light at the back in the afternoon. I walk three miles often, going around the complex three times. I love New Jersey, live a stone’s throw from where I grew up. It’s safe here!! My one-bedroom is just big enough for one person. One is that I’m well taking care of regarding a safety net of the socialist democracy welfare system. Having a good job has helped me as well. The health care system is really generous and caring. Norway is a peaceful country and there is little violence. My children and I have always felt safe. Clean air and water are a given, or as clean as they can be in this day and age. I’m grateful for being able to live in a very rich country. It’s ... Where I live is a blessing for many reasons. I’m grateful for being able to live in a very rich country. It’s not cheap to live here, but these types of luxuries don’t come for free. I’m not sure how many counties could be like Norway other than the other Scandinavian countries which also have a very high standard of living. Every country has its pros and cons some more than others.
