I would write an ode to Green. Nature’s color. The color that goes with any other color and helps make our world a more beautiful place.
An Ode to Green (making this up as I go!)
Dear green....how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love all that you represent:
.Chlor0phyll residing in the leaves.
Gives us oxygen to breathe.
O evergreen tree, the holidays are near.
Your lovely scent fills our home with Christmas cheer.
Farmland and fields where the horses graze
Their beauty brings joy to my days.
Going Green is the way to live!
A gift to our planet....oh humans won't you give?
Earth needs your loving c...

A gift to our planet….oh humans won’t you give?
Earth needs your loving care
Be mindful, be aware!
O green of every hue
Nature’s given this gift to me…..and you.
I love my colors
like I love my people
lush
vibrant
full of contrast.
Some pastel
others jewel toned
or electric
and some the solid worth of browns or grays
full of with nuance and shading.
All essential to the Whole,
we are a color web
where all are equal
and all are loved.
Blue and all its nuances make our blue planet home. Blue skies, blue oceans and blue eyes make me smile.
Blue moon and blue whales make me know we inter-are. Blue is the color of clean clear water connecting and flowing like a river.
Thank you Antoinette for the beautiful blue ode. You are loved.
Rojo bermellón. Calma, tranquilidad, inspiración
I would write an ode in the colors of the rainbow and it would loudly proclaim Love as the answer to everything for it is what we are! ???? ????
Green was the first color to come to mind, the natural green of the plants and the forests. Here I am right this very minute, amidst juniper and oak and pine. Even in the twilight of autumn, the evergreens are here blessing me in the morning sunlight.
I would write an ode to the colors of the rainbow, like you, Carol. It conveys a sense of mystery and awe, and I always feel joy when I see one. To me, it feels like a sign of hope and perspective, given as a free gift by nature to everyone, this heartwarming beauty. Have a good day everyone!
Burgundy. It is a mixture of red and blue, maybe a tad of gray, green or black. Combination. As far as an ode to it: i’m not a poet and don’t I know it!!
What came to mind was the colors of a rainbow. Years ago, I was driving in Arizona and I literally drove into a double rainbow. It was awesome. I felt surrounded by color.
I think I’d write an ode to white, because it is so bright, and it is what I associate with light. White is limitless and blank: it’s so inclusive, it could be a canvas for my life and put an end to strife. If I can remember white as source ?) of all the colors I can stay the course.
red is the first color that popped so red u r heat and passion. red I think u bring any pain that I push through into fashion. I believe purple runs through my veins. but, when I give of myself to help others red reigns. I am grateful and thankful for all the colors including red. may today be a day of peace, joy, and positive action…enough said.
Ode to purple
A luscious blend of colours
Symbol of royalty
Hue of flowers
Feminine, soft, vibrant
Ode to yellow
Mellow yellow which finds itself
in the centre of things
Like the heart of a daisy
or the inner spiral of a
frangipani.
Rich and soft in colour and
music
I’ve got nothing “ode-wise” in my head, the most I’ve done is drag my bones from bed!
When I read your post, I had to laugh, as today, I had to drag myself from bed as well rather than jumping out full of energy. Thanks for the joy you brought, as it changed my energy and color afterwards from a slight grey to vivid colorful impressions. And a friend just sparkled today, such a gift!
Thanks Ose, wishing you a brand new day today of vivid colors! My very best to you.
The electric colors: the pinks, greens, oranges, yellows. Love ’em; my eye is always drawn to them. Life is hard enough–add a little color, I say!!
