I am learning that I’d rather be happy. 1 Reply Ms. Awesome7 years agoMs. AwesomeI would like to pass on my dedication and sincere loyalty to Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior! 1 Reply Deb Waites7 years agoDeb WaitesThere was a time when I would have desired to pass on a legacy of wisdom, but that time has passed. Each person has to search for, ask and accept the wisdom available to them. 2 Reply ©had7 years ago©hadbe grateful=be happy 2 Reply Gina7 years agoGinalove all the responses!- life is so rich I am going to say that in the end , all energy is transformed …so all my thoughts, particularly actions will be transfigured…..we are all energy and it will all be here still in some form….. learning this from the death of my parents……and ultimately only love matters…hopefully will be my legacy—if it is to be, it’s up to me!! 4 Reply Diane7 years agoDianeThis too shall pass. You are beloved and worthy of love. Be kind. Breathe. Be mindful of your blessings. Take care of yourself. All will be well. Take care of the trees! 5 Reply kathleen7 years agokathleenStay in touch with your breath to make sense of life and always count your blessings. 4 Reply Johanna Bosch-Brasacchio7 years agoJohanna Bosch-BrasacchioFriendship at a table 4 Reply Michael7 years agoMichaelThere is no eye in I. The things I have to say that I might want to say are more “lessons learned” or observations. Here is what comes to mind…. (1) if you are thinking or doing something that is opposite what “the world” or “pop culture” etc recommends you are probably on the right track (2) be yourself (3) remember you are not in charge, life is messy, be kind and forgive especially don’t forget to be kind and forgiving to yourself when examining imperfection ... I’m finding plenty of ways to use what amounts to wisdom day by day. Instead, perhaps I’ll leave behind a note saying, “Sorry that I wasn’t able to stay longer.” – Kevin 7 Reply sparrow7 years agosparrow🙂 0 Reply Malag7 years agoMalagEveryone is weird, quirky, unusual. As I get older I’ve got more comfortable with that in other people. More importantly still, it’s in me, and all the light is flavoured with the dark. It’s what it is to be human. I’ve got more comfortable with that over time. I don’t need to be “fixed*: all of that makes me who I am. That’s not a licence for destructive action as I have a choice how to act. I think a lot of healing happens when we acknowledge our humanity and praise the flawed beauty of it. 8 Reply Christina7 years agoChristinaThe 12-step way of life because it has profoundly changed mine. I wouldn’t be on this site, answering questions like these without it. I’ve also seen something on FB about what wisdom I would pass on to young people that I believe is apropos. It’s the phrase “It gets better.” This has been my experience in life primarily because of my involvement in 12-step programs. Oh, and finally, Brother David’s counsel to always be grateful. 5 Reply My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
