Gratefulness
Like the thought of the day reminds us: we are all One. People are put into our lives for a reason. We are a reflection of each other. When we see the truth and love in everything and everyone we are truly free. The shift in a new awareness a occurs when we ask and the doors are open to love all all around us. I used to be blind, but now I see that my cup overflows with with love. I Am full of gratitude which I share through my thoughts, words, and deeds.
I have learned that solitude isn’t scary. In fact it’s a necessity element to open up the parts that have been hiding in me. Having said that, too much solitude makes it so I am unable to serve. I believe that there are times when it’s necessary to retreat to do the soul work we need to do at times. But we also must remain vigilant to serve and strive. Finding balance is the essential ingredient.
I chose to find joy everywhere. By being awake and having awareness I can remember to notice things that I may have otherwise taking for granted. I’m so amazed that clean fresh water is always available to me! I am truly grateful for all of nature and the clean fresh air I breathe. The basic necessities of life are a gift to us which we can be joyful of! They are endless!
I can live more gratefully today than yesterday by lighting and softening up. Let go and allow what ever comes to be. Praise Be. I can say yes more to life and allow the present moment to be here and notice the beautiful love here and now. Let go of the tightness and the grip I want to have of controlling the future and thinking about what may or may not happen! Thank you for this question it helped me remember to remember!
Gratefulness leads me to a sense of wonder because it opens my mind to all the opportunities and possibilities that each moment offers. I Am so grateful for truth and love which grows more and more on this amazing journey.
When conflict shows up in life I can say yes to life. I can try to find 10 positive aspects from whatever is occurring. Like Einstein reminds us, ” never lose the holiness of Curiosity.” It’s funny how the photo is of a cat next to a mushroom! Finding humor and or not taking everything so seriously also helps in times of conflict. Curiosity never killed the cat ! In other words, I have the choice to not be reactive. I can remember to change my min...

Finding humor and or not taking everything so seriously also helps in times of conflict. Curiosity never killed the cat ! In other words, I have the choice to not be reactive. I can remember to change my mind and change my attitude! Choose an attitude of gratitude ! Take whatever is happening and soften myself. Let go of harshness and the judging mind. Sometimes we can’t always change an outcome, but we can change our minds.
Well, I could agree to get matching small tattoos with my oldest son for his 18th birthday! This is a very creative way of showing him I’m grateful for him and our amazing relationship! I just got home from my long vacation back home in the USA and my oldest son asked me to get matching tattoos! I don’t have any tattoos and I I’m not to keen on the idea, but I will say it’s creative! I made him a bracelet in California and told him that we would take...

Another creative way to show ones we love gratitude is to spend our time with them and not on our screens! I asked my other two boys to play hide and go seek last weeek in our rental house! We had a blast playing like we used to! I hide in a place they never ended up finding me! Their 15 and 13 si this was very funny! It’s been a wonderful summer with family and I am deeply grateful that we were together.
Patience is a virtue. We have all been told this wise saying many times,, but when we use the practice of mindfulness and practice we learn how important patience really is. Patience is a virtue. We have all been told this wise saying many times,, but when we use the practice of mindfulness and practice we learn how important patience really is. Why is patience so incredibly vital to a happy life or the practice of loving kindness? When I’m fortunate enough to have awareness rather than reactivity I see how patience, gratitude and loving kindness all contribute to a balanced life. When we slow down and create space for a softening towards our lives and others we become more kind to ourselves and those around us. Often in our fast paced society, we are quick to judge or snap because we feel we must always be on the move or “accomplishing” this that or the other thing. How often to we really slow down and soften up? Loving kindness and patience help us to see that others need our love.
Feeling grateful is an understanding and awareness that the source of love and truth is in us and all around us. Being grateful is the action of understanding and awareness. How we move about in this life shows our truth and love. We see and do with the light of love.
When I’m silent I hear that every little thing is alright. I’m innner guide tells me that taking the time to listen and be open to love which is all around.
Being able to take a step back from any given situation helps to calm my mind. Having go to sayings : This too will pass and maybe so maybe not also help me to not over exaggerate in the heat of things. Also, when I try to find the opportunities in whatever may be occurring rather than putting a negative twist in. Finally, by saying yes to whatever comes my way with an open mind and heart. Allowing whatever comes my way to be there and find something to be grateful for.
I can let people around me know how much I love and appreciate the by being open. Each moment is a gift to be grateful for. Yes to all life has to offer. I can give love and compassion to the people around me and allow the love to overflow to everything.
