today I added beauty by playing catch with my baby cousin (13), literally standing in the back yard throwing a foot ball back and forth for two hours and being amazed by how he is growing into a loving young man who is so important to me
I can add beauty to life today by consciously pausing to take on the beauty all around and trusting and allowing it to shine through …
So simple and true. Thank you.
????
I can add beauty today by smiling to everyone I meet.
By staying in the moment, being present.
Appreciating what I have right now will help me understand that beauty is ever-present.
I love flowers and flowers always remind me that when God created the world, he also created beauty which we can easily see in flowers.
Today’s – ‘Word of the Day’ seems to bring everything together with today’s ‘Daily Question’ and this past weekend in Charlotteville, VA.
‘It is a huge danger to pretend that awful things do not happen. But you need enough hope to keep going. I am trying to make hope. Flowers grow out of darkness.’

Thank you, Jill.
Today I will pause before speaking, aware that the beauty that always surrounds me can have center stage if I get out of the way.
How can I add beauty to life today?
Since ALL the "Beauty of Life" already exists in Absolute Beingness all I can do, as part of Absolute Beingness and its Divine Plan, is reflect that Beauty back to it, within the awareness I have. .....As it is said, "Clear our Heart to reflect your Love to you."
and being a rather lazy and forgetful type I recite this prayer often during the day to stay within the awareness of beauty.

and being a rather lazy and forgetful type I recite this prayer often during the day to stay within the awareness of beauty.
“O God, my Father, make my footsteps upon life’s path as light as they may be. Let me not raise dust, in anger or in greed, that binds my brothers and sisters. Make my steps light upon life’s path. Make my heart, O’God, my Father, a crystal-clear mirror to reflect Your Love, my Love, and to allow my fellow humans to rejoice.” ( a prayer by Dr Stylianos Atteshlis )
Yes, a lot of lightness needed, taking things less seriously and more beautifully, thanks for this prayer Ed
I just signed up. I’ll add beauty to life today by imagining perfect strangers as fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, aunts, uncles, or teachers caring for and celebrating a joyous event with loved ones.
Welcome! And thank you for sharing your beautiful practice.
By remembering that every breath is gift.
By crushing qigong training. That’s the only extra beauty this day needs added to life by me. Outside of daily spiritual practice of course. Life would be horribly ugly without daily spiritual work.
Smile. Listen. Care.
“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” – Audrey Hepburn
Look for good, speak and act with kindness, and walk with others.
smile, reach out, find & see the good, engage, seek more knowledge, be grateful and spread actions of gratefulness.
Take my almost-daily walk. Puts me in touch with nature (like when I was a kid and spent all my time outdoors!) I walk around my neighborhood so I can perhaps see my neighbors too. I love fashion & style so can read and savor my library books on that.
This is a lovely question just to read. Avoiding the use of shop-worn platitudes in my response is, however, more challenging. For me personally, today’s question has me thinking about my response to the Daily Question on August 9, in which we were asked how we might unleash our resources that would benefit the world.
I think that I will just hold today’s question, “how can I add beauty to life today,” in my heart as I move throughout the day. For me, that’s a good place to start a...

I think that I will just hold today’s question, “how can I add beauty to life today,” in my heart as I move throughout the day. For me, that’s a good place to start and we will see what comes.
Excellent! I quite agree and am following your lead, Kevin.
