Gratefulness
I’m more faithful to my values than ever before. Like Ben says there’s always room for improvement, however being content with ourselves is also important. We can’t always want something other than what we have or we miss out on gratefulness. By recognizing the goodness in ourselves we are preforming a beautiful truth and letting our love light shine.
I am wholeheartedly grateful for the welfare system in this country. I have been sick for a long time but I’m still able to take care of myself and family. I feel free to heal completely without stress of being bankrupt. What a blessing! Just knowing that I will not have to lose my livelihood makes becoming well my main focus. I’m so grateful for being able to have these amazing benefits! I realize that this isn’t exactly the answer to this question, but for me ...
I realize that this isn’t exactly the answer to this question, but for me I haven’t been able to really be wholehearted about getting well. Having always ignored my migraines and focused on work etc I pushed through no matter what! That push through attitude is what got me this way in the first place! Sometimes we MUST: stop, look and go, in a wholehearted way or we hurt ourselves by not doing so! Lessons of listening wholeheartedly to my body and intuition is an absolute must! I have learned to wholeheartedly listen to truth and love inside me.
This morning I can make the 8 boys sleeping in my house a pancake breakfast which I believe will make them smile!
I need to release any cherished outcomes better known as clear attachments. I have to trust in love and truth and know that no matter what happens I’m grateful.
I’m grateful for the support I’ve been receiving throughout this challenging time. My parents have been with me every step of the way. My friends and coworkers are also helping. The hospital and all healthcare workers are very kind to me. I’m extremely grateful to have the resources that I have. I hope that my kindness to others is as giving. We have so much more to give when we are healthy. Most importantly I’m grateful for the love that will not forsake me. The kindness that is universal and found in each one of us. The true process of healing is being conected to truth and love always.
Rumi helps me remember what gratefulness means to me. “There are a thousand ways to kneel and kiss the ground; there are a thousand ways to go home again.” Rumi Gratefulness means going back home to me. It’s the connection to everything and that all things are gifts and treasures. When I’m grateful I feel a deep sense of contentment and connection to love.
This is why I don’t wear a watch! I’ve never wanted to look at life by someone telling me to be some place, however as we well know, we must do some things based on the clock! My life wouldn’t change too much accept for maybe trying to not worry about how old I’m getting! I am working in acceptance of my age with grace!
I appreciate letting go of things I cannot control and trusting that I conect to truth and love always. My whole being appreciates the process of letting go and allowing my hearts intuitiveness work for the greater good. Be in tune and stay conected to truth and love always.
Reverence arises in my deep desires to conect to the Source.
I can be still and listen almost anywhere as long as I let go of any inside negative chatter of stories etc that the mind creates to distract me. Nature and in meditation are the two most obvious places where stillness can reached. However mindfulness can be attended whenever I’m engaged and let go of my minds chatter to become one with love.
Avocados give me joy! ????
The riches that can’t be lost in my life are my attitude and resiliency. I’m grateful for my deep abiding connection to love and truth.
I care for all beings everywhere. My heart is full of compassion for beings everywhere. I obviously have my family and friends whom I care for on a daily basis. I also have colleagues and students, as well that I care for. This website has also been a place that I reach out and care for others. All of these relationships I feel blessed for having in my life. I’m grateful for helping them as much as I can and I am ever grateful for how much support and love they give to me...

I feel fear contentment when I’m feeling free and conected. This connection can be when I’m helping people, playing, meditating, cleaning, cooking or doing just anything. I feel great contentment when I’m free in the moment and have no notice of the concept of time.
My struggle right now is the huge adjustment of my divorce. After a 20 year marriage, everything has changed and been turned upside down! One example of my current struggle is to become a master at budgeting! Wow, I’m super anxious over all of this and how to make it all work! Therefore, my current challenge is to look at budgeting as my friend. I am learning to have an attitude of gratitude that I can even have a budget. Lucky me! I can work on planing my life and ...
Lucky me! I can work on planing my life and make real choices about how to best use money. This struggle is offering me an opportunity to grow into accountability. Clearly being in the dark about my financial situation is over! This struggle is teaching me to have an attitude of gratitude for the opportunity to take control over my own life! I’m going to face fear in the face and have confidence in my ability to make solid choices.
Hi KC , Have you read his book ? It’s a great book! mans Search for Meaning. His messages have really helped me understand a lot of things in my own life related to how attitude is. We have the choice to chose our attitude no matter what.
Yay Ben! Happy you’re back!
John, I like the word choice. Disillusioned/ it means to lose illusions . Which is always a good thing. Think to lose all illusions and become illuminated. Beautiful.
I am sorry about your daughter Deb. Maybe someday there will be hope that your daughter will be able to be more open minded and hearted about the universe. Love is the way . Rumi said it best: “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” Peace and Love to you.
I’m sorry to hear you have a lot of pain Kevin. Have you been practicing yoga for lower back pain? If you have a mat at home and even try YouTube to watch yoga for lower back pain poses. This can make a huge difference by just practicing for 10-15 min for 4 days a week. Try it! Peace and love, Antoinette
