Gratefulness

Gratefulness, appreciation , understanding and compassion to name just a few!
The seeds of wisdom I can harvest right now : Slow down and enjoy the flowers. Patience is a virtue. What might feel like loss can also be an opportunity to grow. Look for the good in everything. Appreciate the small things in life. Less is more. With age often comes wisdom. Go win the flow. Say yes to this too. Smile more and love as much as you can.
Oh my! I forgot meditation and gratefulness are good for you!
The hardest times have taught me wisdom, patience, compassion and loving kindness filled with an attitude of gratitude. Lately, the hard situations and suffering have taught me to be grateful for the mud because with mud we can grow the lotus flower.
I try to give as much as possible with no strings attached and it feels uplifting. An example might be taking a walk on the beach and picking up as much garbage as I can. Making a commitment to helping the environment each moment by being more aware of why I buy or do not chose to buy something.
Longing doesn’t always enrich our lives, in fact it can lead us away from it. Maybe longing here means in a way to have faith that this too will change. Like the thought of the day points out to us. We can hope and faith that all will be well. In this regard, longing can be a healthy reminder that feelings and emotions are impermanent. I like the gentle reminder that says this too will pass. It helps me to have more equanimity regardless of what is happening.
Each person I meet I can smile and be compassionate. I’m not sure I can heal anyone but being compassionate helps people know you care and want to try to help in as much as I am able.
Hope and possibilities inspire me everyday. The wisdom of patience calms the muddy waters of peace of mind.
I feel serenity when I’m in the present moment with my breath. When I make the choice of an attitude of gratitude. Swimming and being at one with the world makes me feel connected.
I can be of service today by being awake with gratitude in the present moment. By coming back to the present moment and not being lost in thought I can be of service with present awareness joyful and compassionate. When we do this our service is Healing to ourselves and the whole world.
Being that I’m fortunate enough to have been born with all my faculties intact I believe I’m taking my whole body for granted. I find that unless I’m focused on gratitude that many things are easily taken for granted. I’m grateful for how strong and healthy I am. I’m grateful for my eye sight which allows me to see this beauty.
Following my intuition.
Pause and breathe! Allow to be calm and use the breath to not react but to find a place of calm no matter what storm is manifesting.
Early to bed early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise!
Hi Keiven, The breath has taken me through much pain and suffering. It’s a wonderful way to open up the big sky in us. Much love to you . 🙂
Malag, Love to you and transforming is a beautiful place to be!
Michael, So true! 🙂
Kevin, This sounds like a very balanced and healthy way to view the world. Hope you are pain free and doing well.
Haha! I agree! Why do we have to put our passwords in each time now?
