The more empathy and care that you set yourself up to display, the greater the gratitude for the opportunity to express them. 1 Reply Paul Y7 years agoPaul YI’m grateful for today that my wife and I celebrated 36 years of marriage. I am grateful that this 1 friend of mine shares everything with me, whether she’s upset, happy or whatever that she has the confidence to share with me and I feel privileged to listen. 1 Reply Karen7 years agoKarenI have been getting bogged down with some old hurts and resentments. Today am practicing better gratefulness by intentionally not feeding them…..life is really great! Why waste time by stirring up old pain and bitterness. Life today is awesome! 1 Reply Trevor7 years agoTrevorBy pumping out the full half hour of bows tonight. If I can’t make sure to begin bowing early enough, the whole day was wasted. I couldn’t finish 30 minutes yesterday!! There is nothing more important and I won’t be able to practice gratitude without accomplishing my daily hour of prostrations IN THEIR ENTIRETY! 1 Reply Antoinette7 years agoAntoinetteReverently I prostate with my body speech in mind I present clouds of every type of offering actual and mentally transformed …. Is this what you mean? Or are you doing them literally? 0 Reply Trevor7 years agoTrevorAnd also I am starting Rhonda Byrne’s The Magic today. But nothing matters if those bows don’t get done to THE TEE! 0 Reply Amor fati7 years agoAmor fatiMy living gratitude is of one piece. There is no competition involving “more”.. 3 Reply Trevor7 years agoTrevorI agree. Unless you’re not completely grateful already. 0 Reply kathleen7 years agokathleenI can be more intentional. I can stop often and ask “where is my attention?” Very relevant for me today. I am going to a funeral and I can ask myself. How am I grateful in this moment for my own life today? 4 Reply Deb7 years agoDebI can’t. I lived as gratefully yesterday as I possibly could. Yesterday is gone and irretrievable. Today is now and I begin once again to be as grateful as I know how to be. Always I begin again. 6 Reply Trevor7 years agoTrevorYes! 1 Reply Michael7 years agoMichaelBy living today, really living it. 3 Reply Michael7 years agoMichaela daily period of self reflection on what can I really improve upon always reveals valuable information. the daily “putting gratefulness into actions” is where I can always do more. in my own home too!!! 5 Reply Kevin7 years agoKevinHonestly, That’s a goal I would not worry about because in my mind it turns the topic of being grateful and living a life of gratitude into some kind of a race for perfection. Instead, I would rather strive for being kind, honest, and considerate of other people as I move throughout my day and be fully present to all that unfolds hour by hour. -Kevin 6 Reply Paul Y7 years agoPaul YWell put Kevin 0 Reply Antoinette7 years agoAntoinetteI can live more gratefully today than yesterday by lighting and softening up. Let go and allow what ever comes to be. Praise Be. I can say yes more to life and allow the present moment to be here and notice the beautiful love here and now. Let go of the tightness and the grip I want to have of controlling the future and thinking about what may or may not happen! Thank you for this question it helped me remember to remember! 6 Reply Trevor7 years agoTrevorLetting go of control. I like it. In terms of realizing the ego isn’t running the show. 1 Reply Ose7 years agoOseBy being grateful and happy for all life, unconditionally and towards all and everything which exists.
