Oh my . . .
most of my personal dreams
have either been met or let go.
I still have vision though,
and that inspires me to be creative.
that those not considered in power will turn the tables on those in power and create a new world.
The dream of returning to Oneness. This is the reason that I exist and strive each day to remove the barriers that block my return to Source.
Viajar a Uruguay, tener mi fundación, tener impacto en la política. Que mi país mejore
Espero que se haga realidad
that someday there are not going to be differences of religion, beliefs systems, ethnicity that separate us, that someday there’s going to be respect and acceptance of one another.
That I gain recognition as a writer. I worry that that’s selfish–but I think it would relieve a lot of frustration. My biggest desire is to be able to support my family through my work.
“There shall be no hurt, no harm, on all my holy mountain.” I dream of a return to Eden, where humans are stewards of the garden (Earth) and animals are our beloved companions.
I have a dream that in a parallel universe I am still married to my childhood sweetheart and one daughter has not been molested and the other daughter separated from me by her fundamentalist belief in which I am condemned. Our family would be intact, we would be a source of peace, acceptance, respect and love for each other. My grandchildren would grow up surrounded by extended family.
Who knows, Deb, maybe in some mysterious way, this is true.
Yes, I hope so, Francine.
That humans are evolving slowly (too slowly?) into beings feeling compassion for all sentient beings.
I share your dream, Michael.
The dream of being happy and at ease in my work environment.
What “awakening” lives on in me?
I do not always sound critical of the moderators choice of words here but the word “dream” is part of the western attitude / mind set / which is generating the unfortunate conditions it finds itself in to-day. There is a clever poem by an anonymous source which goes……
“If wishes were horses then beggars would ride.” ( say these words out loud with eyes closed….they will make you feel you are riding on a horse, bridle in hand and feeling rather silly that words can trick you so well! )
Wishes, hopes, dreams, are the common escape mechanisms which egoism uses to hid from the problems that IT IS creating. Rather than “dreaming” I propose “awakening” as a substitute word because awakening means that one is choosing to faces LIFE head on, consciously, lovingly, truthfully and not relying on some mysterious force or luck to DO the life we are meant to BE.
Peace, understanding, tact, respect, generosity
The dream which lives on in me, is that I may provide a space for others to meet with themselves and their God on a truly intimate level. This space is one of hospitality and spaciousness.
That my nation’s leaders will one day demonstrate, through their actions and behavior, the ideals of which they profess and seldom attain, for the benefit of my country and its people
Amen.
I could cry reading this question this morning. So touching, feeling this flame re-ignited. The dream of us all living together in peace in our One world, where each one is provided with what is needed, food, warmth, shelter and all living beings feeling loved and respected. Humans, animals, plants, the Earth, all that exists. “Imagine” !!! Let´s do it! Together we can. I will give all I can, with all my heart, my re-ignited promise.
Thank you for sharing this dream … and what we can do to make it come true. Let’s begin with ourselves!
Blessings to you, dear Ose!
Thank you, Ose, for helping me remember. I share that dream.
Ose, that is so beautiful and inspiring! It touched my heart!! Thank-you for your sharing!
Blessings and peace.
“Imagine” by John Lennon came singing into my heart, reading this, Ose.
Me too, dear Pilgrim!
Love this, Ose. Yes indeed!
I guess two: the dream of partnership and of in time gaining a readership for my writing.
Wishing you full success, dear Christina! I am sure you are on the way to it!
