Grace abounds and it is where gratefulness is born. 0 Reply Paula Madriles7 years agoPaula MadrilesGrace. Gracie. Grace Elizabeth Madriles. GEM 7/11/86 - 9/21/2002. It is a spiritual armor of resilience in the face of negativity. It makes us more flexible, thoughtful, reflective and forgiving. It is an act that saves us, and saves the world. 2 Reply KC7 years agoKCA quiet, invisible healing energy that touches, shapes, teaches, forms, informs, blesses, guides and companions us for on our journeys. … 5 Reply Susan7 years agoSusanI am really touched by your answer to ‘What is Grace?’ It’s not an easy question nor does it have an easy answer. Grace is definitely beyond our own limitations of love. 0 Reply KC7 years agoKCThank you Jill, Such beautiful words – that grace is beyond our own limitations of love. I think of the story of the man who wrote the song Amazing Grace. I believe he was a slave trader, had a change of heart (grace?) in the middle of the ocean, turned the ship around and headed back to Africa with a full ship of people destined for America and life as slaves. And – he wrote a song that has captured grace for many generations ::-) I hope I have this story close enough :-)! 0 Reply Rachel Barton7 years agoRachel BartonGrace is that unexpected, unearned ease that puts you in the flow of connection and creativity. 4 Reply Francine Marie Tolf7 years agoFrancine Marie TolfFrom a poem of mine, “The Cottonwood Tree” . . . I’ll only say it’s morning now, and in young light, I understand a little more that thing called grace, for sweet as chimes in summer wind, my cottonwood is lulling me as if I were her only child. Grace accepted. Felt. Heavenly. Now. 2 Reply Aine7 years agoAineGrace is a really big question! Kevin is right; you cannot pin it down, you can only feel it. Grace cannot be understood with the head, it must be felt with the heart. 3 Reply Ed Schulte7 years agoEd SchulteWhat is Grace? The felt movement of Love/Beauty/Joy/Kindness/Gratitude/Guidance between Source and receiver, such as in transmitting Prayers and Blessings. In other words Love/Beauty/Joy/Kindness/Gratitude/Guidance in action, …..flowing to, dancing to, illuminating to…….any receiver with the awareness to sense it’s existence, it’s power. In as few words as possible …Holy Spirit. 3 Reply Amor fati7 years agoAmor fatiHow lovely…I deeply sense the presence of movement in the gift of grace 1 Reply Gina7 years agoGinaIt is that gentle breeze that is always there, and when I pay attention and notice it alights upon me…..emanating from a great source 1 Reply Ed Schulte7 years agoEd SchulteYes Indeed Dear Gina! I only know how grace feels as it gently arrives, passes through, opening doors and smoothing every way forward. 11 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
