Either way I would love to hear from you on either this daily question side or in the gratefulness lounge. I am missing your input and wondering how you are doing. Peace to you, Mary 1 Reply Linda7 years agoLindaSmile myself. Be friendly and upbeat. Show appreciation. Invite them to do something fun. Bake something special and deliver it to them. Make a fresh flower arrangement and take it to them. Use my sense of humor. Share positive news. 0 Reply KC7 years agoKCRoot deeply to feel peaceful and connected. Be present and aware. Find a deep smile within. Respond with a smile or gesture that shows the other person I see them and that they matter. Especially if it is a stranger, I say it while obviously moving past so the notice itself is also as non-threatening as possible. The responses often are like watching a sunrise, with a smile spreading over the person’s face before they come up with a pleased but surprised, “Thank you!” And for those I love, being liberal in saying, “I love you!” Read More5 Reply Amor fati7 years agoAmor fatiI like…”like watching a sunrise”…..made ME smile 0 Reply GREG MANNING7 years agoGREG MANNINGWrite a note to my Family to read when they get up. 2 Reply Gina7 years agoGinabe grateful to be alive! 2 Reply Sunflower7 years agoSunflowerWalking through the rain today and turning my head with a smile, wholeheartedly wishing all the best to the old lady who had difficulty and pain while walking with her sticks after I had passed her already was joy for both of us. I would like to add: even if I don’t feel to smile. …. and if I increase my consciousness, the feeling of gratefulness is coming back: Mohter Earth carries me. I am grateful that others smile at me, but am workin’ on “Smiling first!” 1 Reply Kevin7 years agoKevinI hear you there, Christina, we don’t realize just how closely others “read” us by looking at our faces.
