Took a stroll this weekend with my husband in Central Park and was bowled over by the cherry blossoms and all the spring flowers. I am thankful to all the open spaces in the city and the visionaries that created them. 2 Reply julie7 years agojulieI feel deep reverence for magic of nature… each unique flower, tree, and bend of the river. 2 Reply kathleen7 years agokathleenI think of reverence in regard to people who inspire me, or statues and pictures of people who have contributed so much to the world. 3 Reply Michael7 years agoMichaelfor all the small and great surprises that each day brings! for the amazing continuity of sunrises and sunsets…even as we seem to work so hard as a species to upset it. for people that work thru difficult times/disappointments/losses and still persevere and create a better life for others and themselves. 3 Reply Michael7 years agoMichaelWith the sun, hope to see it again tomorrow but love it now. It is revered with all it brings for now. 3 Reply Ed Schulte7 years agoEd SchulteWhere does reverence arise in my life? So knowing the laws governing health, I mean knowing the laws of the psychical world, brings relief to a man or woman. Is that all we can learn by using the Mind? No, because by using the Mind everyday we learn new things, which we need to know in our life. We can learn the natural laws, by using the Mind and by observation. So our life should be a continuous study. Study life, what life is. Study our material body and how to keep it in good health. Study the most important lesson, which is our personality. “ Read More2 Reply Kevin7 years agoKevinIdeally, if I am truly being present to all that surrounds me and nourishes my life as being gifts of Spirit itself, then I should be breathing deeply with reverence all day long. And if I am truly being honest I have missed precious minutes already. 5 Reply Christina7 years agoChristinaI am recovering in a 12-step program and feel reverence for it and the healing it (God) has brought to me. 7 Reply Antoinette7 years agoAntoinetteReverence arises in my deep desires to conect to the Source. 4 Reply Gina7 years agoGinaAntionette, Same for me and the reverence of knowing this source is so more than my understanding and knowing….. 1 Reply Anna7 years agoAnnaTwo days ago, during my work, I went to two centers for disabled people, for some audits. I felt a deep reverence towards educators, everyday they face painful circumstances, but they stay positive, they joke with their disabled boys. The world seems different in those places, it seems better. I feel The same reverence for teachers, and for the scientists, when their approach to knowledge is humble. 5 Reply Palm7 years agoPalmDear Anna, I understand when you say it feels like a better world… although my daughter has not been diagnosed, she attends a school for autistic children because she receives beautiful individualised care there. Every day I pick her up I sit by the playground for a while, chat to the staff and feel and sense of peace, and you are right, reverence too, thank you 0 Reply Anna7 years agoAnnaDear Palm, may the beauty and love that still exist in this world take you and your daughter and your family all your life long. ???????? 0 Reply Palm7 years agoPalmThank you dear Anna, I am very moved by your kind words ????❤️ 1 Reply Deb Waites7 years agoDeb WaitesReverence arises for me in my life in moments of stillness and often silence. The split second pause between exhalation and inhalation. In the faint fragrance of nature when I am far from the natural world. In the vivid colors I see knowing somewhere there are colors I have never seen, yet. In the contemplation that there are worlds far beyond my imaginings contained in God. Gratitude leads me to reverence also. 5 Reply My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
