Just today I could see the enlightening talk of Brene Brown on vulnerability, which was suggested to look at by John a week ago. No more words needed… Just clearing what is the right thing to do in this respect. Thank you, dear John for reminding and placing the link, and in case there are still some left here who have not seen it… may I repeat placing the link. https://youtu.be/X4Qm9cGRub0. I find it is enormously helpful. Have a good day you all!
Stop Look & Glow ????
Willingness to start a hard conversation and in the ensuing sadness, staying open to all the good that is inherent in this day. There will be love. There will be light. There will be laughter. Trusting my intuition that it is time to bring into balance the ‘be-ing’ with the ‘do-ing.’
I’m not sure. I sometimes like to search for deeper clarity by looking into the origins of words. Looking up “authentic,” I see that the roots are a combination of autos, meaning “self,” and hentes, meaning “doer, being.” Both of these root words are Greek, as far as I can tell (it’s a little unclear).

Self-doing or self-being reminds me of time spent in nature, where the trees and birds and wind and clouds are so utterly themselves, and seem to shine with this simple, naked beingness.
So I wonder if it’s possible to shine more authentically as my deepest self by letting go more today, particularly of the focus on all that mind can scramble around focusing on (the future, past regrets, figuring things out, to do lists, beliefs about myself, etc.). And maybe one way to do this is by letting my attention rest in the beauty of nature.
Maybe then this simple beingness shines more brightly, though it seems it’s always here even when covered by mental fixations…
If I have something to say, say it to the person directly involved, not to someone else. This sounds easy, but it is not, at least not for me. It’s so much easier and more tempting, for example, to complain to a co-worker about another co-workerer who is giving you the cold shoulder while you have no idea why, instead of directly and nicely asking the person who is snubbing you, “What’ s up? You seem upset and I don’t know why.” But I did so today, and I am glad!
Simply to be precisely where I am, how I am, and allow myself to be okay with that, too.
Like Kevin, I believe I am down to my real, essential self, so the challenge is to maintain that alignment. Hopefully, that means scanning awareness and making minor adjustments.
I agree, Deb. Scanning awareness and making adjustments : larger ones in my case!
passion and kindness. listening and working with and for others. pushing my dreams forward along with nudging others dreams along with them. feeling w empathy measured with resolve/toughness to overcome.
Some of my interactions lately have made me reflect about speaking more straight to the point and not going around to then finally say what I want to say or ask. The question today is a reminder
Yes Palm, next Wednesday I will meet my boss, and I know….how your advice is so important! ????
Will be thinking of you Anna !
Thank you Palm and Ursula!!!
Best of luck, Anna!!!
Be aware of how I feel, what I want, and be aware of what every moment requires to be the person I want to be.
Be myself.
Ask Faith to embody me in thought, word and deed.
????
Stop, look, go?
be still, listen and be present!
challenge for sure today and every day,
Enjoy!

by being in touch with what is going on inside me and choosing the highest good.. I am reminded of the teaching of the 2 realities within us all and which one will we feed.
How might I show up more authentically today?
In the e-course Brother David was asked………
“how do you balance caring for your inner life in the face of all the concerns in the world?”
…Br David….”above all that you need to be connected to that deep Source within yourself. That mysterious Source that you cannot name, that you cannot fathom. And for me that necessitates times of quiet, times of stopping and going deep, lowering myself down into that deep well from which every...

For a Researcher of Truth “going deep” is identified as using the “5 Golden Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven” which are, “Observation, Concentration, Contemplation, Introspection and Meditation”. All 5 have to be done with deep sincerity and patiences towards one’s Self if one wants to live “authentically”.
Thank you Ed. I feel that meditation, contemplating, observation, and introspection are all key factors to really connecting to our true and authentic selves. Being-ness connected to truth and love always.
Short of taking off all my clothes and walking around naked all day, I’m pretty down to my real and essential self already!
I guess maybe to show the world more how deeply spiritual I am. I tend to hide it, thinking it doesn’t belong in the “real world.” Doing this would show others who I really am. I shy away because of fears of appearing as a “holy roller.” On the other hand, been thinking lately that reticence and “shyness” are beautiful human attributes.
Thank you Christina, I appreciate your words, because I feel the same in some circumstances of my life. So, you are encouraging me, with your reflection.
Thank you Anna and Gina…I really enjoy being a part of this community.
Christina,
Yes, we really do live in a culture that values extraversion!
Human attributes are beautiful in so many ways,
Gina
