I hope for all here the same, whatever path you are on, Life is not always easy, but not meant to be, it challenges us many times and sometimes several things come up at once. My Lord/Higher Power has been there for me, so I do have hope Dakki 3 Reply Aine7 years agoAineReminders. Reminders of God’s past faithfulness expressed in multiple ways, the kind word of a friend just when needed, of sudden rescue when none seemed possible, of love shining in a dark time through kindness either witnessed from afar or experienced personally. Even huge mature trees speak this to me in their massive solidity that has weathered more storms than years I have been alive. Things go on, we go on. Somehow, it’s going to be okay. 5 Reply Dakki7 years agoDakkiYes, I hear you about the trees, why just today while waiting for the bus I went into a small grove, and touched several trees, the previous day I brought home 2 lovely pine cones, trees are awesome Dakki 🙂 tks for your post 1 Reply Palm7 years agoPalmI am going to cite Václav Havel: “Hope is not the conviction that something will turn out well but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out” “Hope is not a feeling of certainty that everything ends well. Hope is just a feeling that life and work have a meaning.” “Hope is the deep orientation of the human soul that can be held at the darkest times.” 2 Reply SaraO7 years agoSaraOSenator Jeff Flake and Senator Bob Corker in their willingness to open their mouths in indignation and outrage at the incivility and fake truths coming from our president. I am hopeful that we will return to civility and integrity with more people in both parties standing up to the current administration. 3 Reply Ed Schulte7 years agoEd SchulteMy purpose is to serve Absolute Beingness wholeheartedly, not to wait for anything to arrive by way of hoping it. The Divine Wisdom with Absolute Beingness is All Wise, All Loving and All powerful. It always delivers an appropriate “gift” weather my egoism likes it or not! 🙂 Hope has a silent opposite, doubt. To keep doubt at bay, serve. 3 Reply Michael7 years agoMichaelThe laughter of children. You say they don’t understand, but maybe they do, maybe they just do. And many are growing older without loosing that understanding, and the haters of the world will be the objects of laughter as humans evolve. Personally, I laughed at some of those haters on the morning news. Absurdity can be funny. 2 Reply John Turner7 years agoJohn Turner*My talent *My (and my wife’s) perseverance *The fact that if we do our very best, the universe will align for us 3 Reply Ed Schulte7 years agoEd SchulteAMEN! to that truth! 0 Reply Hot Sauce7 years agoHot SauceRemembering that I AM a divine spiritual being having a human experience helps me get out of patterns of negative thinking about things that seem “impossible” or “too hard to achieve.” Whenever I get caught up in negative thinking, remember this and affirm, “I change my thinking and change my life.” Today, I have hope that my intentions matter and will create the sincere desires of my heart. 3 Reply Liza7 years agoLizaBlessings to all! Every time I do my yoga practice, breathing & meditation, when I contemplate nature, looking at the sky, listening to rain, sunrise & sunset, smiles, seeds, wisdom, gratitude, the source… all bring hope.
