Thanks for life and living! Thanks for being, and Thanks for the World.
Acceptance
All you need is love
we are at this very moment being healed
healing moves through us, we are the conduit
and the circuit
if we still ourselves we can feel it
we are part of the field of healing energy
and never apart from it
Falling down + getting up + learning = growth
Lovely response!
Trust
The only thing constant is change
Self compassion when God keeps silent and sometimes, ironical .
Peace be with you… when necessary use words…
“I wish you well, I wish you happiness, I wish you healing.”
-Dr. Amit Sood
“there is a crack in everything… that’s where the light gets in.” Loosely quoted from Leonard Cohen
Replace sugar in (y)our diet with the sweetness of (y)our smile
Yes!
One thing I’ve learned to do is to almost completely remove the phrase “You should” (or “shouldn’t”) from my vocabulary. That way, my expectations/demands are much lower, which is healthier for both me and the other person. Instead I try to always say “I wish you would…” or “I need you to…” It’s made an unbelievable difference!
LOL! Around here we call that “shoulding all over the place, or each other”, John! Excellent advice! Removing the emotionally backed demand of others, I think, is key. I’ve made it habit to phrase these possibilities in terms of “What if you were to. . . “
I’ve also heard, “Don’t should on me, and I won’t should on you.” Thanks for the additional thoughts!
Thank you, John for this great reminder! Very well put!
Set myself right for starters. Have the right view about the day and about life. Then when I meet people or interact with them I come from a place of realizing how precious we all are and how we all try to do the best we can. Being available and not seeing any inconvenience is a way to put people first.
a calming sense of compassion and kindness.
A smile and a listening ear.
there’s always time for a cuppa…
Make anyone I encounter feel like they are the only person in the world.
Compassion and kindness
