Kind beyond belief. Considerate and empathic. Wise and funny. Someone who possessed all the good qualities people thrive off when they were around me. Deeply sensitive, intuitive, wise yet the one who made everyone laugh. The one that gave everyone advice and cheered them up. The one who was seen as a role model because she had such a beautiful soul. And do you know what? I am on my way there already. Based on the support and love friends, acquaintances... I want to be remembered as a kind soul. Kind beyond belief. Considerate and empathic. Wise and funny. Someone who possessed all the good qualities people thrive off when they were around me. Deeply sensitive, intuitive, wise yet the one who made everyone laugh. The one that gave everyone advice and cheered them up. The one who was seen as a role model because she had such a beautiful soul. And do you know what? I am on my way there already. Based on the support and love friends, acquaintances and even strangers have given me during my dark time, I am already striving to be a lovely and beautiful soul who so many people care for dearly. But I am thinking of that maxim, "we judge ourselves by our best intentions and we are judged by our most recent, unworthy act" - or something like that. If that, alas, is true then I may not have much of a legacy, cause I'm no saint. But I trust that people who have known me over the years will cut me some slack. I don't plan on having a funeral or memorial - my body is going to the Mayo Clinic. I do hope that my poetry and essay... Of course I want people in my life to remember me with love! Our Legacy Is Other People. Every person I come in contact with is “my legacy”. The best, the truest, “re-membering” will occur when my loved ones and I meet up again in future earthly incarnations ( not RE-incarnations). We will re-assemble are carry on with our mutual Soul experiences which are, in fact, character development experiences. As it is said, "Sow a Character, reap a Destiny". Therein is the proof positive that each of us are but ‘rays of our Spirit-Soul’ gathering our earthly-human experiences and, yes indeed, “W... How do I want to be remembered?
