Underneath my complaints is acceptance, trusting that the universe has my back, letting go which is actually the key to start receiving. 1 Reply Hot Sauce6 years agoHot SauceI find that the things in life I find extremely unpleasant, even unbearable, often turn out to be the best worst things that ever happen to me. Complaining is a common habit for some because we are unable to see that the situation is serving a greater purpose. My deepest struggles, sorrows, and heartaches have made my life so much more adventurous and joy-filled. It is a matter of seeing behind the illusion of things being “bad” or “unfair” and seeing the higher purpose they are serving. 2 Reply Francine Marie Tolf6 years agoFrancine Marie TolfHi Hot Sauce, I can agree that my deepest struggles and sorrows have perhaps matured me and made me a better more compassionate person, but it's really hard for me to say that they have made my life more joy-filled. And here is a strange confession: I have without a doubt suffered more from "small" stuff - noisy neighbors, bass pounding through the walls for hours on end - than I have from the big things in my life. Not sure what to make of this, but I know one thing - complaining seldom helpe... What’s underneath is an open space which, when my complaining is politely sidelined, makes room for my creative energy. What will be "there", above all self imposed negativity, will be what some call the "Eternal Now", that place in which the Pure radiant, colourless, non-reflected Light of ones Truth Selfhood shines, unimpeded, for all to see.
