So, this question, I realize is important to reflect and realize that my body is also who I am. So, after listening to my body, I realize it is telling me I need to exercise more. I am, however, realizing that I really did not do myself any favors with the pushing and stressing and insisting. Kindness to self is a far better way, even if that means I make some new choices about what is most important to me. I’m seeing that kindness actually helps get more done better in the long run, but how challenging it can be to retrain ourselves! 1 Reply Pilgrim7 years agoPilgrimI am waiting for today’s revelation in this department. I woke with lots of pain – not unusual after a day of running errands and sitting in the bleachers at a football game to enjoy my granddaughter’s marching band performance. She is a senior, so time is running short on that! Woke to lovely sunshine and cool temps. I will go out for some walking and the day will unfold from there. 2 Reply Kevin7 years agoKevinHope you’re feeling better now, Pilgrim. Bleachers are sheer torture racks for my back, so I hear you there! I also love listening to marching band music, but not while sitting! Here’s hoping you have a pain-free or less-pain day! 0 Reply Aine7 years agoAineHUGS, Pilgrim. If your weather last night was like ours, you were probably a tish chilled by the end of the show! Hope you feel better soon. 🙂 2 Reply Susan7 years agoSusanWhere I live, I am on the outskirts of Hurricane Harvey and we are getting hit with lots of rain and winds. So, staying indoors and safe is best for my body, mind and soul at this time. 1 Reply salvatrice mazzarella7 years agosalvatrice mazzarellaMay you be safe during Hurricane Harvey and BE GRATEFUL for the rain which waters our soul. Let the Lord speak in the rain and the fear and know HE IS THE DIVINE INDWELLING!! ONLY IN GOD IS MY SOUL AT REST!!! 0 Reply Anna7 years agoAnnaThinking of all people and places in the world that are hit by hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, I thank you for your remind to S. I have been told more than once that I am not “patient with the process.” 😉 I believe, though, that the most important key is believing that you CAN heal fully because then your choices all work towards that goal. Many blessings to you! 3 Reply Ed Schulte7 years agoEd SchulteWhat is my body asking for or needing right now? To begin with ….It is not “my body”. What is my body asking for or needing right now? To begin with ….It is not “my body”. Since the body ( all three of them ) is only on loan to me, it is created by the Divine Wisdom and maintained and sustained by the Holy Archangels of the elements. So it is TRULY, only, their body. And their works are far beyond anything human intelligence can comprehend, ….. but improper use of the mind ( one being lack of understanding of who we are relative to who they are ) does cause interference in their great works. So the question is rather …… .“What is my ‘assigned Holy Archangels of the Elements, Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel and Shamel’ , asking for or needing right now?” Simple answer: Nothing but Awareness. Awareness of the great work these Emissaries of the Divine Wisdom are performing unceasingly, never asking for anything in return. But Awareness (being an act of Love) does make their task easier. Being relaxed is proper awareness, Conscious breathing is proper awareness…..Contemplation, often, of …”Who am I”, is proper awareness, ….Listening to the heart beat saying .”I love you” again and again, is proper awareness, Giving “Thanks” to the heart beat” is proper awareness….this list could get long Read More2 Reply Trevor7 years agoTrevorExcellent. 1 Reply Ed Schulte7 years agoEd SchulteConnecting the previous question of the day with this one ….which is want I suspect the moderator(s) were intending “We are given these Bodies to live in by Grace and NOT by right” and it is imparative that the body does receive at least that much that respect.” DASKALOS 0 Reply Antoinette7 years agoAntoinetteMy body needs rest and tender loving care. 4 Reply Kevin7 years agoKevinCoffee…and maybe a cranberry-orange muffin, too. I tend to sleep for a few hours, then awake. Then I choose to check my e-m or Facebook–probably not the wisest choice. Sleep is such a blessing!! 2 Reply Aine7 years agoAineWhen I was having a problem with waking up and not being able to go back to sleep, I counted shrubs instead of sheep. I’d choose a spot on our property and then work my way around naming all the shrubs with their common and Latin names. Usually, I did not make the whole tour of the yard! 😉 3 Reply Christina7 years agoChristinaThat sounds lovely, Aine. It’s funny: ever since I started working at home my sleep has been disrupted. It’s crazy too: sometimes, I’m afraid I’m gonna miss something! Go figure! 0 Reply Sieger des Friedens7 years agoSieger des Friedensto move, walk, stretch and bend my joints.
